An antique Diamond Ring

An enchanting diamond ring from the early part of the 20th century. A boat shaped design that has many old brilliant cut white diamonds, their clarity we have assessed as Si, and a colour of h-j. 

A lovely pleasing effect when placed onto the finger as seen on our model. The centre set with five diamonds that graduate from 1.3mm to 2mm. The crescent shapes above and below all set with diamonds, 1.3mm each. The total diamond content estimated at 0.50 carats. They are all set into platinum.

The head measures 18x8mm, depth 3mm. The under setting and band test as 18 carat yellow gold (stamped 18CT) no hallmarks required for this period. Weight 2.4grams
