An Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring

A fine Art Deco panel shaped ring. The rectangular head measures 15x9mm, depth 4mm, weight 3.9grams. 

Set with eight triangular shaped sapphires 1.8x1.8mm , mille grain set. A central row of five old brilliant cut white diamonds 2mm each. The rest of the head is set with ten smaller diamonds and another one set into each shoulder. Total diamond content estimated at 0.25 carats.  The head tests as platinum.

The shank is stamped 18CT and tests as 18 carat gold. There was no legal requirement for a hallmark for this period.
