A vintage Opal and Diamond cluster ring

A fine vintage cluster ring. Features to the centre an oval shaped opal, with excellent play of colour, pink to one way, vibrant green to the other with flashes of electric blue also within the body of the gem.

Measures 8.5x6.5mm, mille grain setting. Complimented by an outer halo of twelve old brilliant cut white diamonds, each 3mm, total carat weight estimated at 1.20 carats. Colour i-k, clarity Si.

Head measures 14.7x13.4mm, depth 3.6mm, weight 3 grams. Stamped 18CT, tests as 18 carat white gold. Period 1930s, no hallmark required for that period.
