A vintage aquamarine and diamond ring

A very pretty early 20th century cluster ring featuring a rectangular-cut aquamarine measuring approximately 7 x 4mm(estimated weight 0.75 carats), displaying a delicate pale seawater-blue hue and set within a fine rim setting.

Surrounding the centre stone is a halo of fourteen rose-cut diamonds, each approximately 2mm, with an additional three 1.5mm rose-cut diamonds to each shoulder, giving a total estimated diamond weight of 0.60 carats. The diamonds are all set in platinum, complementing the aquamarine’s soft tone beautifully.

The head of the ring measures approximately 11 x 9mm, with a depth of 4mm. The shank is crafted in 18 carat yellow gold, stamped 18CT (slightly rubbed) and confirmed by testing. No further hallmarks are required for this period.
