A fine solitaire ring featuring a single brilliant-cut white diamond, measuring approximately 6mm (estimated 0.75 carats). The diamond is assessed as colour I–J with VS clarity and is securely claw-set, allowing excellent light return. The setting has a depth of 5.5mm, and the ring has a total weight of 4.3 grams.

An elegant additional feature is the diamond-set under-gallery: six delicate white diamonds, each measuring approximately 2mm, are set between the base of each claw, adding subtle sparkle and refinement when viewed from the side. The total diamond content of the ring is estimated at approximately 0.92 carats.

The ring bears UK hallmarks dating it to 1998.

The diamond has been expertly hand cut by a specialist lapidary and the fifty two facets reflect the light back to the eye in a most appealing way.  The single stone diamond ring is the iconic ring for those getting engaged to be married.  For those who love the idea of recycling or upcycling, the vintage ring cannot be matched as there is no carbon footprint unlike laboratory grown diamonds that have some implications and cannot be totally carbon neutral.
