An exceptional pair of ruby earrings.Each earring is centred with a cushion-shaped ruby measuring approximately 3.6–3.8mm, displaying a pleasing pigeon-red hue. The stones are collet-set, with stylised petal detailing forming a floral surround.

The earring heads measure 10.8mm in diameter and are fitted with capstan-style screw scrolls, offering excellent security when worn. Each earring weighs approximately 3.6 grams.

The metal tests as 18ct gold and is almost certainly continental in origin. There are no visible hallmarks, and the design and construction suggest a likely date of circa the 1930s.

Recently cleaned in our ultrasonic cleaner to ensure maximum cleanliness and security.
