A fine Victorian opal and diamond pendant

A beautiful Victorian pendant containing a round cabouchon cut white opal, 8.8mm diameter (estimated at 2 carats) with a fine play of colour with flashes of orange, red, peacock blue and green. 

Surrounded by eleven old brilliant cut white diamonds 3mm each (0.10 carats) colour I-j, clarity Si. Diameter 16mm. Attached by a small bar to a larger diamond 5.5mm (0.65 carats) colour I-j, clarity Si. 

Setting is not hallmarked due to the period and not being a legal requirement. Yellow gold and silver (very usual with Victorian jewellery) . Attached to a 16" platinum neck chain (please enquire if you need a longer chain, we may be able to source)

Overall weight 4.8grams. This is an exceptional piece of jewellery and would adorn any neck. Opal is the birthstone for October.

We send by Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge. Please allow 2 working days for delivery. Most items are delivered next day after leaving us by RM.
