A fine Belle Epoqué emerald and diamond ring
A fabulous ring from the Belle Epoqué period (1900-1915) containing a cabouchon cut emerald centre stone estimated at 0.85 carats, diameter 5.8x5.6mm. Above and below a pear shaped old brilliant cut white diamond, each 7x5mm (estimated at 0.60 carats) colour G-h, clarity VS. All stones set in platinum.
The navette shaped head is 22x11mm, depth 4mm. It is set with a border of eighteen small rose cut diamonds, with each shoulder also set with two rose cut diamonds. Weight 4.3grams. Shank and under setting test as 18 carat gold. No hallmarks as not legally required. A highly desirable and collectable ring.
