A fine Art Deco sapphire and diamond cluster ring

A fine Art Deco cluster ring containing an oval mid to dark blue sapphire 5x3.5mm (0.33 carats) with good clarity and depth of colour, mille grain set. Around the sapphire eight old brilliant cut white diamonds, two x 0.20 carats, six x 0.10 carats, total estimated total of one carat.

Daisy head cluster, tests as platinum, 12.3x8.7mm, depth 4.4mm, weight 2.4grams. Shank is stamped 18CT PT. Tests as 18 carat white gold and platinum, no hallmark was legally required at this time. A truly beautiful period ring in fine condition.
