A fine Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond ring

A beautiful original Art Deco cluster ring featuring a rich, dark blue oval-cut sapphire displaying flashes of cornflower hue. The sapphire measures approximately 8 × 6.5 mm and is estimated at 1.50 carats.

Surrounding the centre stone is a halo of sixteen old brilliant-cut white diamonds (approx. 2.2 mm each), complemented by three 1.6 mm diamonds to each shoulder. These diamonds are assessed as colour J–K, clarity P1, with a combined estimated weight of 0.70 carats.

The head of the ring measures 13.3 × 12.3 mm with a depth of 3.5 mm, and the ring has a total weight of 3.6 grams. It tests as platinum, typical for the Art Deco period and requiring no hallmark for its era.
