🔹 An Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring

A fine Art Deco panel-shaped ring of elegant geometric design. The rectangular head measures approximately 15 × 9 mm with a depth of 4 mm and a total weight of 3.9 grams.

The head is millegrain set with eight triangular-cut sapphires, each measuring approximately 1.8 × 1.8 mm. A central row of five old brilliant-cut diamonds, each approximately 2 mm in diameter, is flanked by a further ten smaller diamonds across the head, with an additional diamond set into each shoulder. Total diamond weight is estimated at approximately 0.25 carats.

The head tests as platinum, while the shank is stamped 18CT and tests as 18 carat gold. As was common for the period, there was no legal requirement for hallmarking.
