An Edwardian aquamarine and pearl necklace

A fancy Edwardian necklace . The main part of the piece is a bow set with thirty one small seed pearls from 1.5-1.8mm. 30x18mm. Suspended from this a large oval aquamarine 11x9mm, claw set. The bar is set with two seed pearls, 25mm from the main piece.

The chain measures around 19" and is festooned with six x 3mm seed pearls. Barrel clasp. Overall weight 8grams. No hallmarks but tests as high carat gold, (18 carat).
Period 1901-1910. A very attractive piece of jewellery!
