An Antique Turquoise and Diamond Ring
A really special antique ring that was hallmarked in Sheffield almost 150 years ago.
It has a set of hallmarks that represent Sheffield Assay Office for the year 1879. The centre stone a turquoise just under 3mm diameter, each side an old cut white diamond 2.4mm diameter, (est 0.05 carats) All stones in a star setting typical of the Victorian period.
The head is hand carved and the hallmark has a representation of the head of Queen Victoria. Weight 2.9grams. Part of the hallmark is slightly worn. We believe this to be 12ct gold.
In really excellent condition.
Finger size- Q 1/2. However if you would like us to alter this for you- we can, and free of charge, just let us know on your checkout.
If your birthday falls in December- Turquoise is the birthstone for that month.
