A vintage Ruby and Diamond Ring

A vintage ring from the early to mid part of the 20th century.  The centre stone is a circular ruby 5mm (0.50 carats) , to each side a brilliant cut white diamond 3mm (0.10 carats each) colour i-j, clarity Si, set into platinum.

At each end another ruby, 3.3mm (0.15 carats). All rubies pink to deep red colour, all stones collet set. Head spreads to 18mm, width 5.6mm, depth 4.4mm, weight 3.2grams. A fine ring with hand finished decorative work to each shoulder.

Shank stamped 18CT, tests as 18 carat gold, no hallmarks were legally required before 1973.

Size O 1/2. We can resize, a simple task and does not affect the integrity of the ring.
