A tanzanite and diamond ring

An AAA grade square tanzanite 7x7mm, step cut, in a four claw setting, depth 7.5mm, and set into each shoulder four brilliant cut white diamonds. 

Diamonds are bright and lively, colour G-h, clarity Si, 0.10 carats each, total 0.80 carats. Shoulder length with diamonds 12.7mm length. No hallmarks as this is a continental manufacture. Tests as 18 carat white gold.  Weight 4.3grams.

Size K 1/2. We can resize free of charge but please check your size with us as there is a limit as to how many sizes we can go (probably 2 sizes either way).

Tanzanite is the blue and violet variety of the mineral zoisite, caused by small amounts of vanadium. Tanzanite belongs to the epidote mineral group. Tanzanite is only found in Simanjiro District of Manyara Region in Tanzania, in a very small mining area approximately 7 km long and 2 km wide near the Mererani Hills.
