From the House of Christian Dior two iconic 1980s pieces of jewllery. 

In the shapes of orchid flowers, an 18 carat yell gold plated necklace, The orchid shape measures 30x30mm, and set with small white crystals. 

Smooth snakeskin texture to the collar which measures 16". Clasp stamped Ch.Dior. Weight 30grams. 

The earrings match, weight each 6.4grams. Stamped Ch.Dior. For pierced ears.

Sold as a set. No original boxes, but we will supply one of our luxury gift boxes.

Christian Dior's reputation as one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century was launched in 1947 with his collection, the 'New Look' celebrating ultra-femininity and opulence in women's fashion.  He launched his first collection of fashion jewellery to complement his garments in 1948 and hired some of the talented jewellery designers of the time to design collections, such as Kramer, Henkel and Grosse designers who were all active during the 1950s. Such pieces from those years can be recognised by the markings 'Chr. Dior' Germany. Christian Dior jewellery is very collectable today.

We send by Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge. Please allow 2 working days for delivery. Most items are delivered next day after leaving us by RM. If you require quicker we will endeavour to assist please call us on 01373  462089 or email contact@vintagetom.co.uk to discuss as we have other delivery solutions that may suit.  Any returns we can discuss with you. (We will use DHL  as an alternative, we do NOT use Evri)
