A fine Diamond Cluster Ring

An impressive vintage ring. A target style cluster set with many old brilliant cut white diamonds.  The centre stone 5mm (est 1/2 a carat) surrounded by ten 2.4mm diameter diamonds, the outer border, twelve 2.8mm stones. 

Total diamond content estimated at around two carats. Colour varies from J-L, clarity SI2-P2. The head diameter is just under 17mm, depth 6mm, weight 6 grams.  The band is stamped 18CT, and tests as 18 carat gold.

The style would indicate this ring to have been manufactured around 1930. The diamonds have been individually set with retaining claws. The overall condition is good, the claws being in good  order. 

Size L. We can resize this ring if required. A good heavy shank allowing a good increase if required by adding additional gold. An invisible process for our expert goldsmith.
