A fine Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

An exceptional cluster ring containing a cushion shaped mid to dark blue sapphire 8.7x6.8x4.5mm (estimated at 2.50 carats). Mille grain setting. Surrounded by sixteen small old brilliant cut white diamonds to an estimated total diamond weight of 0.65 carats.

Colour G-h, clarity VS-Si. Head size 15x13mm, depth 5mm, weight 4grams. Period estimated at 1920-1930 (Art Deco). Tests as platinum. 

Excellent overall condition, the sapphire shows no sign of heat treatment (unconfirmed)
