A beautiful Art Deco Ruby and Diamond ring

A stunning and authentic Art Deco ring, dating from around 1920–1930, crafted in classic plaque style.

At its centre, fifteen old-cut white diamonds (each approx. 2.4 mm) sparkle beautifully, with a combined estimated weight of 0.75 carats. The diamonds are bright and lively, graded H–K colour, SI clarity.

Surrounding the diamond panel is a border of twenty-five calibre-cut rubies (each 2–2.3 mm), their deep pinkish-red hue providing the perfect contrast to the shimmering white diamonds.

Expertly set in platinum with an 18ct yellow gold outer setting and band — typical of high-quality French Art Deco craftsmanship of the period. The ring bears no hallmark, as was common for the era, but tests as 18 carat gold.
