💙 A Fabulous Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Plaque Ring

An exceptional Art Deco plaque-shaped ring featuring a striking cushion-cut natural sapphire of mid to dark blue hue, measuring approximately 9 × 8 mm and estimated at 3.66 carats. The sapphire is set in an elegant millegrain platinum bezel, displaying natural inclusions visible only under 10× magnification — characteristic of genuine stones from the period.

The ring’s head measures 21.6 × 15.6 mm, with a depth of 5 mm, and is beautifully accented by twenty-four old-cut diamonds ranging from 1.6 to 2 mm, with an estimated total diamond weight of 0.50 carats.

The platinum head is mounted on an 18-carat yellow gold band, typical of the Art Deco era and testing accordingly. No hallmarks are present, consistent with period craftsmanship. The ring weighs 4.6 grams.
