An antique Sapphire and Diamond ring

A lovely ring from the turn of the 19th century. Set with impressive round sapphires, the  centre 5mm diameter, the other two 4.8mm. A pleasing mid to dark blue hue probably mined in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) 

Each side of the centre stone, old cut diamonds, each 1.6mm (0.06 carats est)  The carved head measures 19x5.7mm, depth 4.3mm, weight 3.5grams. Stamped 18CT, tests as 18 carat gold. No hallmarks required for this period
