A fine Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond bar brooch

An Edwardian bar brooch. The centre 'target' style portion is set with a brilliant cut white diamond 4mm (0.25 carats) colour H-j, clarity Si. Mille grain setting.

Surrounded by an outer halo of calibre cut sapphires, within a 8mm diameter section, each corner a small rose cut diamond in triangular settings. Calibre cut sapphires run along each side of the bar to 10mm with a platinum tip set with a small diamond.

Overall width 45mm, weight 4.3grams. Tests as 18 carat yellow gold, no hallmarks required for this period.
