A fine Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond ring

A striking and highly unusual Art Deco cluster ring featuring a distinctive fan-shaped design. Tapered calibre-cut sapphires form elegant arched panels above and below the central stones, creating a bold, architectural silhouette characteristic of the period.

The sapphires range from approximately 3–4mm in length, displaying a rich, deep inky-blue hue. They are closely set and framed by a fine millegrain edge, adding refined texture and detail.

At the centre sits a brilliant-cut white diamond, approximately 5mm in diameter, estimated at 0.50ct, H–J colour and SI clarity. Flanking the centre stone on either side is a row of small  diamonds running toward the shoulders, completing the sophisticated cluster arrangement.

Crafted in platinum and testing as such, this early 20th-century piece bears no hallmarks, consistent with the period.

A rare and beautifully executed Art Deco design, perfect for collectors of fine period jewellery. Good condition for age, one of the sapphires does have a slight chip at the top. Hard to see without an eye glass but the security of the stone is fine.
