A vintage cluster ring set with a rectangular yellow sapphire calculated at 1.43 carats on dimensions 8x6.4x2.6mm. Good colour saturation with excellent clarity. Mille grain setting.

Complimented by a border surround of small white diamonds. Shoulders divide to a V shape. Total diamond content estimated at 0.25 carats. Head measures 11.8x10.6mm, depth 3.7mm. Band is stamped PLAT, tests as all platinum.

Period cannot be confirmed as no hallmarks, which were not required legally before 1973. We have assumed 1950s. 

In absolutely superb condition, size N, and we will resize for you, free of charge but please check your finger size with us first.

Yellow sapphire colour is due to the presence of iron. In fact, the higher the presence of iron in the yellow sapphire, the greater its saturation.
