A vintage Ruby and Diamond cluster ring

A beautiful vintage ruby and diamond cluster ring, dating to 1976, featuring a classic design that combines the rich colour of a natural-looking pinkish-red ruby with the sparkle of surrounding diamonds.

At the centre is a round-cut ruby measuring 5mm in diameter, displaying an attractive pinkish-red colour. The ruby is complemented by a surrounding halo of ten brilliant-cut diamonds, each measuring approximately 2mm, with an estimated combined diamond weight of 0.35 carats.

The diamonds are assessed as colour I–J and clarity SI–P1, offering a lovely contrast against the central ruby. All eleven gemstones are set in platinum, enhancing their appearance and creating an elegant, timeless cluster design.

The ring is crafted in 18 carat yellow gold, with platinum settings, and bears full UK hallmarks for London 1976, confirming its vintage heritage.
