An antique Sapphire and Diamond bangle

An antique bangle. Boat shape design set with nine dark blue sapphires. 

These vary in size from 3.3mm to the centre sapphire 6x5.5mm, total estimated at 4-4.5 carats. Set with eighteen rose cut diamonds, approximately 2.4mm and estimated at just under one carat. 

Spreads around the wrist to 60mm, graduates from 4mm to 8mm, depth 4.5mm. Galleried side borders. Hinges open.

Internal diameter 60x50mm. Safety chain attached. Tests as 15 carat gold. 

Late Victorian- early Edwardian. Weight 9.9 grams.

Excellent condition, looks fabulous on the wrist.
