An Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond ring

A beautiful Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring, dating to 1907, crafted in 18 carat gold with a traditional hand-carved boat-shaped setting. A fine example of early 20th-century English jewellery, combining elegant proportions with timeless craftsmanship.

The ring features three oval-cut natural sapphires displaying a lovely cornflower blue colour. The central sapphire measures 6 x 4mm, complemented by two smaller sapphires, each measuring 4 x 3mm.

Nestled between the sapphires are four old brilliant-cut white diamonds, each measuring approximately 2.4mm, with a combined estimated weight of 0.20 carats. These charming antique diamonds provide a delightful contrast to the rich blue sapphires.

The beautifully hand-carved gold setting is characteristic of the Edwardian period, with its elegant boat-shaped design allowing the gemstones to sit harmoniously across the finger.
