  • Link style: Curb links, each measuring 6×4 mm

    • Original swivels on both ends

    • Original T-bar attached to the extension piece

  • Assay marks: Each link individually stamped “375”

  • No date letter - Birmingham Assay Office

  • Estimated period: Early 20th century (circa 1900–1930)

    Albert chains were named after Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria, who popularised wearing a chain across the waistcoat with a pocket watch.
    By the early 20th century, solid 9ct gold curb-link chains like this were common among gentlemen of means.

We send by Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge. Please allow 2 working days for delivery. Most items are delivered next day after leaving us by RM. I ordered the ring on a Sunday evening and I got a tracking email saying it had been sent by 10.30am the next morning.
