A beautiful and elegant rectangular cluster ring, believed to be of French origin, featuring a magnificent deep blue sapphire surrounded by a delicate arrangement of rose cut diamonds.

The centrepiece is a substantial rectangular dark blue sapphire measuring 9.5 x 7.2mm, with an estimated weight of 2.50 carats. The sapphire is framed by thirty rose cut diamonds, each measuring approximately 1.4mm, creating a wonderfully refined and traditional cluster design.

The rectangular setting is crafted in white metal, tested as platinum, providing a beautiful contrast against the rich blue sapphire. Each shoulder is further embellished with two matching rose cut diamonds, bringing the total to 34 diamonds.

The shank is fashioned in yellow gold, tested as 18 carat, with an unusual and attractive platinum edging, demonstrating the fine craftsmanship of the piece.

The combination of rich yellow gold, platinum and traditional rose cut diamonds gives this ring a particularly elegant and timeless character.
