A beautiful Sapphire and Diamond cluster ring

A highly impressive LARGE multi cluster gem ring. The principal stone a mid cornflower blue sapphire that measures 10x8mm (est 3+ carats).

Complimented by outer rims of three rows of diamonds. Each 1.3mm diameter, an estimated  total of seventy two stones, to an estimated total of .90 carats. Colour J-k, clarity Si-P1. Head measures 21x19mm, peg under setting, depth 10mm, ring weight 7.9grams.

Band stamped 750, and tests as 18 carat white gold. This amazing ring was manufactured in Italy, and supplied by Jeweller, Carli of Lucca. We have original box and papers. Probably 1960-1970.
