A pretty Sapphire and Diamond cluster ring

A  platinum cluster ring featuring a central oval-cut sapphire measuring approximately 5 x 4mm (estimated 0.40 carats) of inky dark blue colour.

The sapphire is surrounded by a halo of fourteen brilliant-cut white diamonds, each approximately 1.3mm in diameter. The shoulders are further adorned with a line of nine small white diamonds on each side, bringing the total estimated diamond weight to 0.30 carats.

The head of the ring measures 8 x 7.3mm, with a depth of 5.3mm, and the piece has a total weight of 3.8 grams.

Fully hallmarked for platinum (UK), no date mark present. The ring appears virtually unworn and is presented in excellent condition.
