A fabulous solitaire diamond ring
A simply stunning single stone solitaire ring- set with a fine brilliant cut white diamond sparkling with its fifty seven facets, colour F-h, clarity VS. Diamond is 6.15mm and estimated at 0.87 carats.
Head has a depth of 6mm, weight of the ring, 4.6grams. Each shoulder is set with four tiny diamonds that bring the total weight of diamonds close to one carat.

This lovely ring seems unworn. Its age would suggest that it was only purchased in 2022/23 and therefore has never been truly owned by anyone
The first brilliant cut was introduced in the 17th century known as ‘mazarin’, with 16 facets on the crown or upper side of the stone. A little bit later the Peruzzi cut was introduced by the Venetian polisher Vincent Peruzzi, increasing the amount of facets on the crown to 32. Through a series of gradual transformations and developments over the course of the 17th and 18th century, this evolved into the forerunner of the modern brilliant, the Old European Cut. The old brilliant cuts were always somewhat square-shaped with rounded corners. It was the introduction of mechanical bruting in the 19th century which made it possible to make the stones completely circular, bringing the brilliant round cut as we know it today even closer. Always seen as the iconic engagement ring, and this without doubt will delight the receiver in the light of a betrothal to marriage.

Delivered At Place (DAP), also known as Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), means that the seller is responsible only for shipping the product and the customer is responsible for paying any import fees, including VAT, duties, and clearing fees. We are unable to accept international returns unless an item is faulty.

Bought an Opal ring as a gift, lovely, but then saw another I preferred, still from Vintage Tom. Received both rings the day after purchase. I received a pre-paid envelope to send item back, which makes returns simple. I was refunded for the first ring the day after I had returned it. I ordered the ring on a Sunday evening and I got a tracking email saying it had been sent by 10.30am the next morning. The ring arrived quickly in a lovely box and was exactly as shown and described, it also came with a valuation certificate.
