A Victorian garnet pendant
A Late Victorian Garnet Pendant Necklace, circa 1890
The openwork pendant, finely executed in 9 carat gold, set with two circular-cut garnets, each approximately 5mm, of dark red tone. The mount exhibits the refined pierced and scrolling motifs characteristic of the late Victorian period, measuring 40 x 23mm, stamped 9CT.
