A three stone ring containing a cushion cut golden yellow sapphire centre stone 7x5mm (est one carat) Mille grain setting.

Each side a brilliant cut white diamond, 3.4mm each (0.15 carats) colour G-h, clarity Si, mille gain set in square mounts. Head measures 14.5x6.8mm, depth 4.5mm. 

Ring weight 3.5grams. Tests as platinum. Overseas manufacture so no UK hallmarks, stamped PLAT.

A yellow sapphire is a type of sapphire that is naturally coloured yellow. It is made up of the mineral corundum and is prized for its bright yellow colour. They can be found in a variety of shades, ranging from a pale yellow to a deep, rich yellow. Yellow sapphires are also sometimes used as a replacement for traditional yellow gemstones, such as citrines or yellow diamond.
