💙 An Early 20th Century Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

A charming early 20th century cluster ring, featuring a slightly oval-cut sapphire measuring approximately 5 x 3mm(estimated 0.25 carats) of a pleasing mid cornflower blue colour, set within a finely detailed millegrain platinum bezel.

Surrounding the sapphire are ten old-cut white diamonds, each approximately 2.3mm (total estimated diamond weight 0.40 carats), arranged in a classic daisy cluster setting. The ring head measures 10 x 8mm, with a depth of 3mm, and the overall weight is 2 grams.

The head tests as platinum, while the under-gallery and band test as 18 carat yellow gold — a typical combination for this period. No hallmarks are present, as was customary at the time.
