An early 20th century Emerald and Diamond bangle

A fine early 20th century bangle. Set with an impressive cluster to the centre, featuring a grass green emerald centre stone, with excellent clarity,  5mm diameter (half a carat) surrounded by eight old brilliant cut white diamonds, each 3.3mm diameter.

Complimented with a row of diamonds down each shoulder of the bangle, and the total estimated weight of diamonds for the entire bangle is estimated at 1.15 carats, colour G-h, clarity Si.  Head cluster diameter 11.2mm.

Inner dimensions 5.5cms. (please note before purchase as many antique bangles are smaller than those made today which tends towards 6.5cms.) Weight 10.7grams

Tests as 15 carat gold (no hallmarks required for this period) .

Condition- generally excellent, a little wear to the edges near the hinge, but not very noticeable. Hinge in good condition. The tongue is a later replacement as these are usually very weak but the replacement is solid and safe. Safety chain attached
