A Unicorn brooch by Geoffrey Bellamy
A sterling silver brooch designed by Geoffrey Bellamy. In the shape of a unicorn, the oval shaped 'cut out' brooch measures 50x33mnm, weight 14.4grams.

Geoffrey Bellamy (1922-1997) was a celebrated bomber during WWII, he flew 112 missions and won the Distinguished Flying Cross and bar. After the war he attended the Birmingham College of Art before studying at the Royal College of Art under Robert Goodden. After his graduation he started a workshop in west London where, like many of his contemporaries, he was influenced by Scandinavian design and made mostly small designs for retailers such as George Tarratt.
