An Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring

An Edwardian ring containing a rectangular sapphire centre stone 3.6x2.8mm mid to dark blue colour and each side an old brilliant cut white diamond 3.5mm each (0.15 carats) . Colour i-j, clarity Si-P1.

The stones are set into panel shapes, 13.4x6mm, depth 3.5mm, weight 3.1grams. The head and shoulders test as platinum. Shank stamped 18CT PLAT, and tests as 18 carat gold. No hallmark as the period did not require one legally.
