An antique sapphire and diamond five stone ring

A fine antique ring set with a 5mm cushion shaped sapphire to the centre, mid to dark blue, source Sri Lanka (assumed). Each side an old brilliant cut white diamond, 4mm, (1/4 carat) colour G-h, clarity Si. 

Each end a further matching sapphire 3mm (0.10 carats).  Eight tiny associate rose cut diamonds are also in the setting.  The head is boat shaped, 19.7 x 6mm, depth 4mm. Hand carved setting. Weight 3.5grams.  The shank is stamped 18. Tests as 18 carat gold, no hallmarks as the period is assumed 1895-1905, and no legal requirement for a hallmark to be issued.
