A vintage garnet and diamond ring
A vintage cross over style ring containing a diamond centre stone at just over a quarter of a carat, colour I-j, clarity Si. The diamond is an antique rose cut and set into a platinum collet.
Each side of the cross over head is a garnet, 5mm diameter and mille grain set into platinum. Head 18x8mm, depth 4mm, weight 3.7grams. The shank is stamped 18CT PLAT and tests as 18 carat gold and platinum. Period estimated at 1920-1930. A lovely period ring. Garnet is the birthstone for January.
