A Victorian sapphire and diamond dress ring
A dress ring from the late Victorian era, set with three cornflower blue sapphires , centre 3.5mm, each side a 2.6mm sapphire, and between a 1.8mm old cut diamond.
The head is hand carved, 17mm width, height 8.6mm, weight 3.3grams. A date letter for 1889 is apparent, but no assay office. Tests as 18 carat gold. Condition- good to fine.
