A Victorian diamond cluster ring
A pretty Victorian cluster ring containing old brilliant cut white diamonds. The centre diamond is 3.7mm (0.18 carats) colour I-j, clarity Si. Surrounded by eight small matching diamonds 2mm each. Head diameter 9mm. As typical of the late 1800s the diamonds are set into silver.
Each shoulder is set with three 2mm diamonds. Divided hand carved shoulders to a patterned shank. Weight 2.8grams. Depth 4mm. The shank tests as between 15 and 18 carat gold. Period estimated at 1870-1880. Condition is very good.
Size N-N 1/2. Due to the double band design on the shank we are not able to reize
