A half carat marquise cut solitaire diamond ring

A solitaire ring containing a brilliant cut marquise cut diamond. 8.3x4.1x2.61mm, 0.50 carats. GIA certificate 2215005812, confirming colour F, internally flawless clarity grade. 

Head 9x5mm, depth 5.95mm, peg under setting, weight 3.4grams. Diamond set into white gold, 18 carat yellow gold shank. Shank stamped 750, and tests as 18 carat gold. Irish hallmark. Fine overall condition as seems almost unworn. Period assumed 2000-2010.
