A fine Victorian watch Albert chain
A 9CT ROSE GOLD ALBERT WATCH CHAIN. Consisting of trombone shaped links 20x8mm, and connected with patterned square belcher links and round belcher links. Pair of swivels are in good condition with springs working well. These are stamped 9CT, there are no hallmarks as not legally required until 1973
Length 38cm (15") There is a further length of 35mm which could be added to the chain to make a necklace, giving a maximum chain length of 41.5cm of around 16".
Also present is a swivel key fob. This is stamped 10CT. This swivels to reveal a key. One side a cornelian stone 11mm diameter, the other a bloodstone. The latter does have a small crack noticeable under an eyeglass, but it is secure. Total weight 27.3grams. Tests as 9 carat gold. Period- Victorian, condition good to fine.
