A fine emerald and diamond cluster ring

A cluster ring containing an oval emerald 6x4.5mm (0.60 carats) good deep green colour and very good clarity, mille grain set. Surrounded by ten x 0.05 carat brilliant cut white diamonds to a total carat weight of 0.50 carats, colour G-i, clarity Is.

Head is scalloped shaped, 12x10mm, depth 5mm, tests as platinum, weight 2.6gram. Shank tests as 18 carat yellow gold. The ring is not hallmarked and we have therefore assumed period as 1930-1940. The ring is in very good condition
