A fancy antique watch Albert chain
A fancy late Victorian or early 20th century watch Albert chain testing as 9 carat gold, but with no hallmarks as not required by law until 1973.
The 'trombone' links measure each 20x8mm, and there are six of these. Connecting to facet cut belcher links and patterned square belcher links. Supplied with a T bar and a large swivel (unsure if these are original, but the swivel is in good working order. Length 14" (36cms) . Weight 22.6grams. Fine overall condition. Period estimated at 1895-1905. Note some of the end links on the chain required soldering as seen on the image. Our goldsmith has now remedied this by soldering where required for extra safety.
