A 22 carat gold wedding ring
A plain D shaped wedding ring. 22 carat gold, hallmarked Birmingham 1932.
Width 4.7mm, weight 3.8grams. In fine condition with a good clear hallmark. These high carat gold rings were so popular in the early part of the 20th century but in modern days 18 carat seems the highest used carats. But now our customers seems to want to go back to the almost pure gold wedding rings, and 22 carat is just 2 carats off pure gold!
