A vintage diamond solitaire ring

A vintage single stone diamond solitaire ring. The diamond is bright and lively, carat size 5.6mm (0.55-65 carats) colour G-h, clarity Si-P1 (all estimated). The diamond is mille grain set.

The shank is stamped PLATINUM, and tests as platinum. Period assumed at 1930-1940, so a hallmark not legally required. Head 5.85mm, depth 4.4mm, weight 3.5grams. Overall condition is excellent with no noticeable wear. A beautifully simple yet elegant ring.
