A fine Victorian ruby and diamond ring
A turn of the century ring, hallmarked Chester 1900, and the last of the Victorian era. A boat shaped head set with three round rubies Centre stone 4.4mm , each side two tiny rose cut diamonds, at each end a 3mm ruby.
Rubies have excellent colour and good clarity. Head 16x7mm, depth 4mm, weight 3.3grams. In superb condition. Chester hallmarked items are rarer as the assay office closed in 1962.
